PubPK (http://www.pubpk.org) is a project aims to create a free, complete, up-to-date, reliable, and searchable database for pharmacokinetic data. It is built in collaboration by pharmacokinetic scientists from around the globe.

Data collection is an extremely time-consuming process. Research scientist often spend hours or even days on collecting data for one pharmacokinetic parameter of one particular compound. Sometimes all the efforts end in vain when there is no data available in the published literature. The oppsition also often happens, where there are many data sources but they don't totally agree with each other.

The project was inspired by Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, and by the needs of pharmacokinetic scientists for a complete and up-to-date pharmacokinetic database.
